                                                                                HAPPINESS     

It's hidden deep inside

It's inside that anxious last minute wait

 to meet once charming friend after so long.

                       It's inside that pumped up joy of seeing back each other

                       and smilingly running wild to hug the cherished bond             

                       that's still so strong.

  It's inside those old talks that she knows of you

  so well and the felicity it gives when the wave of

   similar thoughts underneath your oceanic mind too flows.

                             It's inside that little pause when she exactly knows a                

                            naughty thought building under your nose and with a 

                             twinkle your eyes meet that's when in symphony the                                                            funny bubble glows.

Happiness is ethereal and at the same time ineffable,

   it's preserved deep inside us

      we get to reach, find and feel only

        in company like the two seeds of different 

          essence nurtured together and while growing up 

            they entwine infuse themselves into each other's life.

     

        

TINY TALE 

Happy hello😊 to all you amazing people who are reading this right now. the tiny tale behind this poem titled “happiness” lies in its simplicity and came to life while two of the best friends were meeting after a long period of time

It was last year’s spring when my friend ‘J’ came all the way down from hills of himalayas to capital just to meet her best friend ‘Loi’ who was representing her coastal state in a cultural food festival hosted in the complex of a historic monumental site in the heart of the city. The gentle breeze blowing across the festival site was a blessing in itself as the weather mostly show its extreme in this part of the country .     

   

Because of so many people out there enjoying the festival ohhh… rather food i must say, we were not able to spot ‘loi’ and that’s when in between those moments i quietly witnessed a rush of emotions , excitement and eagerness on j’s face, to meet her favourite person after so long.

This little poem is all about friendship, love and the bond people share with their closed ones, with whom they don’t have to pretend, with whom they can be themselves, with whom the only thing that matters is their presence.

After all we as human beings “BREATHE HAPPINESS” only in fleeting moments such as these.

  i believe each one of us has at least, that one source from where we draw all the positivity and happiness in life. i am more than happy and excited to know your side of tiny tale.
